Can i make a private forum?
Of course! Here we go:
- Login.
- Click Subforums in menu.
- Click on the subforum which you want to make private.
- Enable option "Only Registered Users may enter/view this subforum.".
- Press "Change" button.
How can i add a image at the top of my forum?
Adult Forum Host uses wizard to help you change the look & style of your forum. You can simply use a Wizard to add a image at the top of your forum. First login, select Templates in the menu, click the "Wizards" tab. Now click the "Forum Header" link, a new page appears with many controls, take some time to look at them. First enable "Enable image header", next enter the url that points to your image in the "Image header" field. After you have done that click the "Change" button at the bottom of the page.
There are many many many more ways to change your forum with the help of Wizards. Just go to the Wizards tab and click around ;-)
How can i add content to the left or right side of my forum?
You can add content to both sides of your forum by working with Boxes. A box is a box (duh!) which can contain all kind of html code:
- Click "Boxes" in the menu.
- Click "Add a new box" link to add a new box.
- Now you can specify the content of the box.
- Don't forget to check the "Enabled" checkbox, otherwise the box won't appear on your forum.
How can i add titles for my users?
You can define titles for your users when they reach a certain post count. You can do this by clicking on "User titles" in the menu.
How can i change my Forum settings?
That one is easy, just click on "Settings" in your menu. These settings apply to your forum and any subforums this forum has.
How can i change my SubForum settings?
Just click 'SubForums' in the menu and click on the title of a subforum (in the 'Title' column). Now you can change the settings of the chosen subforum.
How can i change the way my forum looks?
Try clicking 'Templates' in the menu and you will find nice and easy to use Wizards to change the looks of your forum. If you click the HTML tab you will be able to change the HTML templates.
How can i create a subforum?
- Login
- Select 'Subforums' in menu, if you have no Subforums in menu then create a Forum first, cause a subforum can't exists without a forum.
- After you selected Subforums in the menu click the "Add a new subforum" link.
How can i remove a entire topic?
That one is easy:
- Surf to your forum.
- Login with the account information you use to login at the Adult Forum Host control panel.
- Go to the topic you which to remove.
- Scroll down to the bottom.
- At the outer right of the "Post Reply" image is a menu which contains a item "Remove Topic".
- Select that one and your done!
How can i remove a topic?
That is easy:
1. go to your forum.
2. login.
3. go to topic.
4. select 'Remove topic' from the dropdown menu.
5. confirm and the topic is removed.
How can i sticky a topic?
That is easy again:
1. go to your forum.
2. login.
3. go to topic.
4. select 'Sticky topic' from the dropdown menu.
5. confirm and the topic is stickied.
How, how and how?
Almost every page of the control panel contains a Help area at the right (the light yellow area). This Help area contains a description of what you can do on the selected page.
I don't want guests (unregistered users) to post topics!
You don't have to worry about automatic spammers cause there is a spam protection. But if you don't want guests to be able to post topic and/or replies then you simply turn it off. You can do that by following the steps below:
- Click Settings in the menu.
- Enable or disable the options "Guest may post topics." and/or "Guest may post replies.".
- Don't forget to save!
I have a suggestion, where can i leave it?
Suggestion, feature request, bug reports and everything else is welcome on the Support Forum.
Suggestions should go in the Big Suggestion Topic.
I'm missing feature X on my forum which is available in Demo/Support forum?
You likely did change your HTML templates, this causes the automatic update of templates not to function, because otherwise it would overwrite your changes.
You can add the needed tags yourself by comparing the default template with your own template and copying the missing tags from the default template to your own template. Or just press the "reset to default" button if you didn't change that much.
A short description:
Go to control panel > Templates , backup you template on the Backup tab. Go to Html tab, click a template, copy your template html to notepad, click "reset to default" button, copy the default template html to notepad, compare the 2 template htmls in notepad and add the missing tags. Then simply copy the template html with the new tags you added to the big template field and press the "Change" button.

Try clicking 'Templates' in the menu and click the 'Wizards' tab. Now click the wizard links and you will find loads of options!
Why are Views not directly updated?
The View column of your blog is updated every 5 minutes. This is done to make the forum faster.
